Juvederm Injections : Reviews and information

Juverderm is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler injected right under the skin to treat wrinkles. It was created by Allergan, Inc in California., the same company that makes Botox. It can be used as either an alternative to Botox, or as an accompanying treatment. This treatment is not so much in competition with Botox as it is an additional treatment for specialized areas. Juvederm is approved by the FDA. Allergan Juvederm is advertised as the next generation dermal filter, and it claims to be one of the smoothest gels of its kind. There is a Botox Cosmetic Benefits Club that offers discounts and exclusive invitations. Also, the product does not contain animal products.

The Juviderm wrinkles treatment is supposed to last as long as one full year per injection session. Juvederm gel is an injectable filler gel made out of primarily natural ingredients that must be administered by health care professionals. It is injected just under the skin to add volume and reduce wrinkles, making the skin appear smooth. It also treats parenthesis, which are the folds from the bottom of the nose to the corner of the mouth (nasolabial folds). The injection process last only 15 minutes. Possible side effects include redness, tenderness, irritation, itching and swelling, all of which can last for up one week. The Juviderm website states that 90% of people prefer Juvederm to other brands. There is however no detailed information about how this study was conducted. The website doesn't include a full list of ingredients. The average Juvederm injections cost prices ranges from £225 to £260 UK, ($350 to $400). Injections can be something scary, and instead of using an injectable treatment like Juvederm, many people prefer to use a topical anti aging formula. However, compared to other injectable treatments, Juvederm might be a good choice.
