Product Review: Agera Creams

Coming from the Greek term 'Ageratos' ('not to age'), Agera Anti Aging Skin Care is clear on its main focus. Along with that, Agera claims to provide solutions for acne and acne scars. You'll see products meant to be bought in sets and those that don't have to be. Advertised as a 10-year researched product by biomedical specialists, doctors, and chemists to ensure quality effectiveness, we will have a look at what is being claimed.

Among Agera's AntiAging line, there's a product selection of 14. Here are most of them:

Another is the Agera Ultimate Retinol Rejuvenator-60, which is considered the company's pride and 'one of the most significant advances in the fight against aging' according to them. We regret not finding a complete ingredients list for this or other Agera facial creams and products on their website. And this may make customers look elsewhere. The most popular products seem to be the Agera peels, the phyto and recovery complex creams and the Agera Salicylic Wash.

When researching and looking for ingredients lists, there are a few selective ingredient properties mentioned like Retinol aka Vitamin A (famous for dealing with acne and scars), Collagen Peptides, Antioxidants and Anti-Inflammatory elements, Vitamins C and E, Muscle Relaxants, and Peptides. Specifically in MagC Peptire Serum, there's Matrixyl, Vitamin C, and Collasyn. This one could be effective, although Matrixyl is a more powerful anti-aging weapon (33% wrinkle density decreaser) than Retinol and Vitamin C (prevents sun and environmental damages from harming skin). Vitamin C can also complement collagen production but Real Collagen is what we prefer to see in formulations.

What was odd was that skin dehydration is not addressed in particular by this cosmetics line, and dry skin is a big cause of wrinkles. That's why some products have Hyaluronic Acid and that's to address that problem. So in the end, we see Agera's antiageing product line as not above average. However, we noticed a growing number of UK stockists or online outlets/stores where the Agera products are available to buy (we've seen coupon codes and discounts too, so it could prove interesting to look around below for any trial products).
